Hello everyone I'm new here.  I usually post lyrics but I also write poetry so I'm here.

Hello newcomers! Please read your welcome letter and these tips so that you have an idea of what's expected in a critique forum.

Hi, sounds exciting. I think you've made a good pick to work on poetry on your way to writing good lyrics, but there's a big difference and you may want to look for a lyric writing forum too.

You don't have to have a strong poetry background to post here, especially in the Novice forum, all you have to be is a serious reader and let the OP know your reaction to the poem, pointing out what seem like strong or weak points to you.
I hope you enjoy the site and find it useful.

Hello to everyone! I am fairly new to poetry. I decided to take a shot at it to broaden my horizon in writing and so far, I'm enjoying it. I've been looking around for a great poetry community and came across here. I look forward to being a part of it.
