Hey, a poetry Guru. Greetings!/Chris
Hi all! I'm Madison, I'm currently 18 and a college freshman. I'm from Colorado and I'm attending college in South Carolina, which has been quite a change. I started writing poetry sort of consistently around the 8th grade and this semester I'm taking a creative writing poetry class, which had really got me looking more into editing and workshopping my poems. Hope to see y'all around! Thumbsup
Hello everyone. I used to go by Philatone here some time ago but had a bit of a falling out with poetry, what with a move to the midwest in the States and just a phase where I needed to live some more. I have missed the site and people and am excited to get back into the grind; the community here is wonderful, so I'm really looking forward to sharing what I can once more.

I am sympathetic to the idea of the poetry unfriendly midwest causing a falling out with poetry. Welcome back. Good luck with the name change and the reconciliation!

Hi, geoff,

I read Polishing Silver when I got here. I love the poem and it was a great editing lesson for me.

Welcome back. Smile

Welcome home. I recall reading your Alamo poem in the Hog Spotlight. It will be good to have an old pro back into the fold. Cheers/Chris
Appreciate the warm welcome and kind words!

Hello. Guess I'm the new kid. My name is Angelia and I'm from Texas. I'm 27 and have a deep love of poetry that I walked away from some years ago. Thought I'd try writing again here with you. Love reading all of the work.

Thanks. Seems like y'all could be a little too serious sometimes, but I hope not. I think poetry should be fun too.
