I think you've made a good pick to work on poetry on your way to writing good lyrics, but there's a big difference and you may want to look for a lyric writing forum too. You don't have to have a strong poetry background to post here, especially in the Novice forum, all you have to be is a serious reader and let the OP know your reaction to the poem, pointing out what seem like strong or weak points to you. I hope you enjoy the site and find it useful. (03-13-2016, 02:22 AM)Apoorva Wrote: Hello all!... Andddd a happy day! A happy day to you too. Raven, please read your welcome letter, which explains how to post. Also, there are instructions at the top of each forum regarding the type of feedback that is acceptable and will be approved by moderators. No mod will ever approve:
Quote:I honestly have nothing negative to say about this, no grammatical errors, the point gets across well, good job. A+ in the Serious Workshopping forum. There are many hints and tips around the site as to what constitutes good feedback/critique, and just following the example of other posters is always a good idea.

Hello to everyone! I am fairly new to poetry. I decided to take a shot at it to broaden my horizon in writing and so far, I'm enjoying it. I've been looking around for a great poetry community and came across here. I look forward to being a part of it.
