Hey there. I've been looking for new avenues to engage in poetry discussion and share my own poetry with others for a while now. This place looks quite promising and I'm excited to jump into it.

Hi rina,
Welcome. It is too early to go back to your place. We hardly know you. So crit and post your work here. We'll all give you the benefit of critique in return. That's why you came here, right?

Hello red,
Good to see you offering up crit to others. That's the way it rocks round here. Try to give reasons for why the poem affects you the way it does and offer upany improvemdnts you feel would improve the work. Looking forward to seeing yours.Smile

So I clicked a link on my friend's blog on wordpress and TADA! Here I am. I actually am an administrator on another poetry forum, but have some older works that I'd love to get right before I die. Looking forward to critiquing everyone and reading some fantastic stuff!
Hi bena,

Glad to have you here. It's nice to see you critiquing. Can't wait to read and comment on some of your stuff.

Best,

Todd

You are like a caterpillar and the pigpen is like a chrysalis and billy is like a confused goat and leanne is like a crazy bat that flies around in a frenzy looking for butterflies to eat.

Welcome to the chrysalis!
Hi, PigPen - I'm a twenty-something immigrant (Welshman) living in America who needed an outlet. Want to get to know people and contribute to this place as well as subject you to my novice work (which I care about, despite how corny it may be). Smile
Hiya Jim -- we are happy to have you here, especially considering you've already given so much feedback (thanks a million for thatThumbsup). We'll even overlook the Welsh part...
hi jim and welcome

Leanne may be stretching it with the Welsh part Big Grin

Thanks for the kind words! Big Grin And don't worry - I promise to keep the sheep-related poetry to a minimum. xD
