Glad to meet all the people on PIGPENPOETRY.

We are an Australian family living in Jakarta. Our poems are mostly about our new city and our emotions while living in a foreign country. Hope you enjoy it.

while we don't object to a link of a poem you had published etc. it's not really fair to join, do two posts and leave two separate links. feel free to link to your home page through your signature by all means. but give it a while before spreading too many links around the site

I've just come back to poetry after not writing in a long, long time. I'd like to get some feedback before I post it elsewhere and embarrass myself. I would also enjoy reading what else is out there and offering my $0.02 if I think I can be helpful.

The name is a compliment I received once from a warrior poet I know. I liked it so I kept it.

I hope thi place serves your purpose--but may I make a suggestion? Have a look at the different threads (eg Novice, Mild, Misc, Fun, Serious) to see the sort of feed-back people give, and the level you think will suit you best. In fact, the people I regard as the best, use all of them at different times. Have fun.

I am Kanwar from Toronto. I love writing poems for the fun of it, I am not a serious writer, however whenever I write I try to make sure the poem rhymes and makes sense to the reader who enjoys it by the end of it.

hi kanwar, we do have a for fun section where your poem is safe from those who would advise changes

we also have forums where you can perhaps improve any poetry skills you have by workshopping.
