A stickler minimalist would tell you that using the word "ever" could be unnecessary.

I'm a stickler for form, so I love that you wrote a complete statement that follows the syllabic format.

Thanks for the read and observations. This isn't really a poem so much as a commentary in 17 syllables.  Haha. We had a thunderstorm here in Ontario yesterday. I really can't remember one in February. That El Nino is a mischievous boy.

Winter is cancelled this year, there's been El Nino in my life before, but never like this. It's March and I haven't put on my boots once.
