I feel as small as a speck of tea
As though you cannot see
I feel as tall as a summer day
The ones that wash the rain away
I feel as happy as a clown
They just like to lounge around
I feel as sad as man,
That finds out he cannot stand
Sometimes my emotions run on high
So I can forget when another emotion dies

i see you did two poems
i'll take this one as the first and say thanks for posting on the forum.
the poem. two lines stick out;
I feel as tall as a summer day
The ones that wash the rain away.
to use summer day as tall is clever. (long day)
and extra clever when used to wash away water. they are my favourite lines.
a couple of slant rhymes in there but they work okay.
it flows well when read, although i think line 2 need a little change to make it work better.
thanks for the poem Tigress

With a few tweaks here and there, this could be almost perfect. It's certainly a charming ditty.

As though you cannot see "As though" seems an odd choice of words. How about something like "one so small you cannot see"?
I feel as tall as a summer day Would "long" make a little more sense than "tall"?
The ones that wash the rain away This is a lovely couplet, like something from an old folk song.
I feel as happy as a clown
They just like to lounge around Would brackets on either side of this line help, to show that it's parenthesis?
I feel as sad as man, Seeing as there's no other punctuation, is this comma needed?
That finds out he cannot stand
Sometimes my emotions run on high
So I can forget when another emotion dies Again, lovely and sweet, like an old folk song. I can imagine the pros warbling this to the tune of a plywood guitar

Hi!
I like it!
It's calm but powerful piece. And deep one!
Enjoyed.

This really made me smile (even if it's not an overall happy piece... there's till something soulful in it). The summer day that washes the rain away is my absolute favorite part. Thanks for this
PS. If you can, try your hand at giving some of the others a bit of feedback. If you already have, thanks, can you do some more?
