Cat

One finger extended
And with it, an invitation.
"Just for you, here's a little affection."

Eyes stare at the digit in motion.
Minutes pass without a blink.
Ears twitch. The feline thinks.

Finally, the decision is made.
She trots over, pushes her head in.
"I'll let you have the honor
of rubbing my chin."

Can't claim this poem. By my bro Smile
Hee, I like stories about cats Smile. And this about sums up cats to a tee.

Gets a little prosey for me, but what the heck Tongue
PS. If you can, try your hand at giving some of the others a bit of feedback. If you already have, thanks, can you do some more?

I dunno if you can call a poem "cute" but this one is certainly furry. Tongue

As soon as I'd read this poem, especially the last line, I let out an enormous "AWWWWH!" Not in a condescending way, you understand, but because I just love cats, and it captures the reason why I love them so much, their measured affection and sweet haughtiness, with scalpel sharp insight.

100% kitty all the way. ;1st;

You give to the world when you're giving your best to somebody else.
