< All is Vanity >
Ms. Vanity bought a new vanity.
"Can't you stop, don't you know it's inanity?
The old one's just fine,"
Mr. Vanity whined,
"It's Ms. Vanity's vanity vanity."
Mr. Vanity thought pure profanity,
but he knew this was total insanity.
His wife she held strong,
Till he felt he was wrong,
It was better to show her some amity.
So he dropped it and buried his vanity.
For the good of himself and humanity.
His ego was nil,
He gave up, paid the bill.
It's Ms. Vanity's vanity vanity.

I should think such a need for a vanity
would evoke at least silent profanity
from this vain Ms's Mister
when she couldn't resist her
need to check on her makeup and tannity
It could be worse

Verily, a vain venture to voice verses on the vagaries of virtueless vain vanity, or vise versa!
How long after picking up the brush, the first masterpiece?
The goal is not to obfuscate that which is clear, but make clear that which isn't.

Excellent comments Leanne and Erthona!
You really put the 'creative' in 'creative reply'!
Mark: The poetic form is called a "trilim".
It's a composite of three consecutive 'lim' forms.
The 'limerick' is a member of the same family of poetic
forms derived from 'lim's; but the 'trilim' is not a 'limerick'
(and vise versa). They are distinctly separate branches
of the 'lim' family tree.

Had there been five, each starting with a successive line of the first verse, you would have a lim in corona
