I've started off the month annoyed by my half-assed attempt from yesterday and my inability to write anything decent that doesn't involve wanking in some form... but that's what NaPM is good for, breaking blocks and generating new ideas.
Mercedes, we should skip a day so we're not so impatient. But I know we won't, because we're masochists.

Yep. I'm bubbling with wanting to write a poem, but I don't want to write two so I'll wait for today's prompt.

Yes, the trifecta seems inevitable now. I'm placing my bets.

Still time to invite your friends -- anyone can jump in at any time, and don't worry if you miss a day or two, it happens. Do as many as you can, catch up if you can manage it, and enjoy yourself.
Thanks for the prompts so far, milo -- it's just as well more poets aren't mathematicians, since two is not a pattern, it's just coincidence

it'll be a pattern if we end up with30 on the last day just kidding of course, milo's giving plenty of leeway so no one has any excuses.
i'm quite enjoying it simply because it's more about having fun with poetry than it is about perfect poetry. that and the fact i've written nothing for a good long time now. i also like the fact that everyone who posts a poem in the thread is equal. so yes, anyone who joins the site up till the 30th can join in of milo's NaPM

NaPM 4; some great stuff in there. great to see teagan and bedeep still in the fray. cidermaid's effort rocked my boat as well.[to name a few] i haven't left any feedback on the threads because i think the poetry there is much more important. that said i have to praise everyone who's posting in them. to do you all by name would be boring but there really is some good poetry coming out of the month so far.

Nothing wrong with making comments on the thread, it's encouraging to know when something moves someone. Maybe mentioning the poet and title with a comment and not quoting the whole thing would make it less confusing.

I've limited my comments because I didn't want to clutter the thread(s) but that's a good suggestion, Ella, to just name the poet and title without quoting the whole thing.

Don't worry about cluttering the thread, comments are part of our poetry here.

yes, the idea is to have fun so there's no rules either way. i just find it hard enough doing the poems without having to give feedback as well
