Bird Watching with Blue Balls.
The mooing of the albatross,
and the squawking boobies on the nearby cliff
caused me great annoyance.
Their eyes were spread apart,
and the only way that they could hide
would be to roost inside a cliff of chalk and flint.
They were both named by those who probably once saw them as the land.
The title of the albatross seemed apt
because their pouches carry water,
And the boobie was so named
Because their tameness and stupidity
was said to make them easy prey.
I could not tell you in-depth thoughts about these birds
Because I crawled from out my rat hole in the city
Just to gawk and beat my breast,
but I guess I could imagine
that the boobies would be kicked about,
and I knew the Albatross would always find its way back home.
