The best Cuban cubist was Wifredo Lam - I love his The Jungle http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:%27The...rn_Art.jpg

If you Google Cuban cubist he comes up first. I saw that painting in back when I live in NY. To me it seemed more surreal than cubist but I am no art student.

It's a bit of both, milo. Cubism isn't always about a square, but a repetition of patterns. Its more of a dissection of objects then replacing them. Remember, Picasso was a cubist artist.

If you can't upload because it's HTTPS, you can always go to view image, then copy image to your desktop, then up load to facebook. The go to view image, copy url and paste it in to the Image option in your tools section. You can also do a search on it if it has a title and see if it shows up somewhere else without the HTTPS on it. Unfortunately this scan is missing about 30% of the image and the color is muted, but as you can see, even with the HTTPS it will still work if it is from facebook.

I might still play around with it though, haven't quite decided. OK, I am going to try to post one of Ray's favorites now! Ah, I am pretty dense when it come to computer stuff! Do you mean to do this... ...because it does not work for me in the preview window. All that I see is a link to the photo between those two sets of brackets. I figured it out using instructions from Ray on how to use tinypic.com. Thanks! 'Amidst the Rhododendron'

Lovely Chris, beautiful piece and so nice to see it big! Sorry what I said didn't help but glad you got it figured out.
Dale do you illustrate picture books? Especially the first three seem like they'd fit nicely together in the same universe of some story. I'd buy that book for sure!
