Selfie love

To love yourself is seldom healthy
Your soul's chipped away with every selfie
This is the thing with those who are vain
They all end up exactly the same.
Sipping champagne is a soulless bar
Never once seeing that they really are
Plastic fantastic beautiful and dull
Vain pointless people lacking a soul.

We celebrate the brainless
The selfish the shameless
The greedy the needy
Their egos scream feed me!
Feed me Feed me!
Feed me with praise
Admired by morons
In a brain dead haze.

So dare to be different
Don't be the same
That's how you win
In life's great game
The only true beauty
Always lies within
It comes when you get
Life's gyzz on your chin
So remember this
In all that you do
Don't be like them
Just be like you.

Are these mocking rhymes? What is life's great game? By asking if they're mocking rhymes, I mean are they for real? If it's a message to simple people, then it's all right, if they come across it.

It's a very scolding poem--almost preachy. "TO love yourself is seldom healthy" That line seems harshly critical and untrue. I like the idea of writing about taking selfies but this is more like a rant.

The great thing about this selfie craze is that for me it is a veritable who's that of celebrity.

There are a few cliches that could be pruned, but there is potential here.
