Thought i should introduce myself. My name is brett, and i live in Minneapolis, MN.

Having browsed here all day, ive found an incredible anount of expression and inspiration. Thank you for that, I hope to be able to reciprocate some of that.

Teardrop
Humanity's prism

Soul's light scattered on overlooking cliffs
Revelations dawn, refracted through tears
wept by shattered selves

Teardrops
Spatter on the earth
Flow together to fill the void
The sea, she is time
Fluid and constant
Amassed
of tears shed by broken spirits
who walk away from this life
Summoned
to stand in her midst
to stand alone before time

Lunar tide reaches forth
to wash away
Footprints

Immersed, I absorb
consciousness which flows
from deep within the void
pools of knowledge
The past and future current
flows back again
this time
breaking waves of tears
for humanity
She weeps

I really liked "the sea, she is time" and think you could really expand on that metaphor more.
The last stanza is really cool. But, what are you "immersed" in??
