I think you are missing a p !
(5th line from bottom to make the up).
I did like the anti meter reaction. (I frequently feel a similar response when being told how easy meter is).

It's not missing a "p"; it has one "it" too many.
(The one in line 6 from bottom.)
It was probably left in by mistake from a previous version.
The poem, by the way does have meter (2nd word in 3rd line).
It's impossible to write a poem without meter.
If you write a poem that has words, it has meter;
if you write one without words, you haven't written.
