This thread is now closed.  Although there has been some excellent feedback, which The Pig Pen certainly appreciates, the OP has not returned since shortly after the poem was first posted; it would be a shame for people to spend more time on this poem until the feedback is read, accepted and responded to.  The thread will be reopened should the OP return and request it.  Thank you to all who have spent valuable time commenting on this poem/ Admin
