Accepting Failure

Hi, Q, I don't know if you have any interest in this any more but I came across it and I do. I think you could tighten up the first part easily, as shown below. The second half is more problematic, a lot of tell, but the content is interesting and I'm wondering if you'd like to take another swing at it now that some time has passed. If not, sorry for the bump and if you PM me to delete this post it will sink back down.

Some lovers keep score,
harvesting envy to seed warmth,
and passion; something everlasting. I love the opening, interesting and covers a lot of bases.

Can we feel it?

Some heroes ride down
dark roads in search of meaning,
justice, or just serenity fleeting. I like this also, possibly switch fleeting serenity.

Can we find it?

Some leaders forfeit faith
and stumble chasing grace, Strong line.
influence, or lasting legacy.

Can we gain it?

We always protect what we're afraid lose,
Don't we?





We always lose what we hold dear.
Excrete some pity or hurl empty chant: The empty chant is interesting, maybe you could do more with that.
life's not fair, we take for granted, this or that.
We are able to accept failure if we loose
control. Posted note excuses whispering
"Better to fail than not try. But we try, but we try."
Better to lie?

We will never truly feel it, find it, or gain it.

The tragedy of commons is the sum of our mistakes.
We tiredly toss away each little piece of meaning
to barter for a better idea of our soul,
but life's meaning is right there
forgotten, in the tragedy
of commons.
