Since I don't have a riddle to solve, here's a rather easy and cheesy one.

What am I?

Up and down I go with ease,
perhaps because there are no trees.

In your element you will win,
should I go there 'twould be la fin.

But if in mine you were to go,
I am fast and you are slow

You cannot be where I belong,
where cold and darkness flow strong.

I may have yours, but I think it's rather clever and cute. The double entendre of la fin (the end and a fin) suggests a 'fish' to me.   >^o>
