They sell them to customers

You can count on your family
getting you one of them.

Since I don't have a riddle to solve, here's a rather easy and cheesy one.

What am I?

Up and down I go with ease,
perhaps because there are no trees.

In your element you will win,
should I go there 'twould be la fin.

But if in mine you were to go,
I am fast and you are slow

You cannot be where I belong,
where cold and darkness flow strong.

I may have yours, but I think it's rather clever and cute. The double entendre of la fin (the end and a fin) suggests a 'fish' to me.   >^o>

That's correct!

Great, here's one that took me a while to assemble:

Versatility

They can bathe a daunting monster
or secure a surly mobster,

convey colossal cargo ships,
yet gather in pink ribbon strips.

(If you are taking a stab at this,
let me know if I should construct
another couplet of clues!)

I added another couplet to help in solving this riddle.
All six lines are examples of this versatile word/object:

Versatility

It can bathe a daunting monster
or secure a surly mobster,

convey a colossal cargo ship,
yet gather in a pink ribbon strip.

It is lover’s lips in a fit of schmaltz
and also a step for those who waltz.

Sorry, i have been away, i assume it is a
bow

The more they take the bigger that it gets -
I’ve had some problems with my riddling neighbor.
You see, he just can’t seem to mind his pets.
They cross the fence to steal what’s mine and yet
The more they take the bigger that it gets -
Like thieving little convicts at hard labor.
We have leash laws but somehow he “forgets”.
The more they take, the bigger that it gets.
I’ve had some problems with my riddling neighbor.

No, but I see how your guess fits several of those lines. This word has so many meanings and multiple spellings, so that the more clues given, the more confounding it seems. So here's a few more  Wink :

Versatility

It can bathe a daunting monster
or secure a surly mobster,

convey a colossal cargo ship,
yet gather in a pink ribbon strip.

It is lover’s lips in a fit of schmaltz
and also a step for those who waltz.

It can be a hold in the sport of wrestling
or a means to keep a wheel from turning.

In the series ‘Lost,’ it was a character’s name,
in England, a philosopher of certain fame.

Breweries use one to aid in aeration,
another kind can set a bullet in motion!

well, mine did fit before, every line actually so this newer form is more "correct" imo as it prevents "bow' from being correct.

now I see it is a

lock/loch

mine is actually a take on an old classic so i dont get full credit.

It sounds like they are stealing food and leaving an ever growing pile of 'crap!'

It does, but that is not the answer.   Hysterical

The only other thing that comes to mind is if the dogs are digging up bones from a single site and stealing away with them, they could be leaving a growing hole.

Yes, the answer is hole. His neighbors dogs are digging holes, taking the dirt from them.

Where does this take you?

It could be used to guide
an obstinate horse,
but the beast that has one
is your best bet of course.

It is particularly weighty
while occupying a small space,
but drawn out into thin lines
it can be readily erased.
