Yoo back at you,
welcome to the glorious Peg Pin
glad that we have helped to foster a love for poetry.
Your poems are really good considering that you have been only been writing for a month.
Look forward to reading more of your works.

Not yet, but hopefully soon! She was told about the site by another friend. We will never break the chain!

Always great to have a new member wanting to participate in the workshops, looking forward to reading your critiques and then your own work. If you're new to critiquing just take a look at the important threads in the workshops, plenty of tips on getting started. Welcome to the site!

Hi!! My name is Opal. I'm mainly a songwriter but often create poetry for fun/exercise. I'm currently working on a project writing Shakespearean sonnets which is becoming more difficult with each one. I am a newbie at reading poetry. I find myself partial to comedic poetry and poetry for children. The songwriter in me loves a good meter and rhyme scheme. However, I'm looking to broaden my horizons and learn from all of you. Admittedly, I found this forum because I was looking for a particular poet who had disappeared off of another website. I was successful in my search. I am excited to read and comment on all of your work.

Hi, opal! Take a look at the practice threads. There’s plenty of instruction and analysis plus because it’s only practice, plenty of humor. I hope you enjoy the site.
