All in all a reasonable poem there. Not that I happen to agree that much with the protagonist.
While it's true I couldn't run on my knees, I found I could move pretty fast on them (at least
when I was younger). I also tended to swear at swords, not by them, and found they cut in
more ways than two. In my life, I've received several answers from above and none of them
made any sense. And yes, lots of people around here believe in blood. I started believing at
an early age, it had something to do with mosquitoes.

When I signed on for life, the Sword part was glaring, but I was young and it was Summer.
It's because of the shady business that I've started praying more. But not out of desperation;
there's so much of it, I'll never be out of it.
Signed on for life? Never knew of anybody that wasn't a conscript.
