Hi. I'm Ryan and new to the forum. I look forward to reading poetry and participating. I am a novice. I don't pretend to be any good. I will post in the easy forums for awhile to try and get some tips and critique.
Thanks!

Hi Ryan.
I think you will find that there are only a few people here that are actually any good. The rest of us are hacks. You'll fit right in. Welcome to the forums.
The key to writing good poetry is to write poetry.

Hi all. I've been writing for some time now and poems have always intrigued me.
I'm looking forward to share and improve as well as to read the others work.
Hi Pdeathstar and thank you for the welcome. I have commented on a few poems here and read many others. My first couple of comments were deleted for not meeting the standards. I have since tried to fix that and have given some more thorough critiques. I am wondering why I am still not able to post poems?

Thanks so much! It is nice to meet you.
Hello, all.
I'm a poet and writer located in Toronto, excited to discover these forums and gain the opportunity to gain valuable feedback and support fellow poets with their revisions. I have published in several literary journals, a chapbook, and am very excited to have finally completed my first full-length collection of poetry, which I am in the process of revising for publication.
A little bit of extra stuff about me you won't find on my website - aside from poetry, I'm crazy about art, travelling, riding my bike, going to readings, and used bookstores.
Happy writing!

Hi I'm Bastian,
Not too original I know. I have been writing poetry off and on for years, some for my own amusement and some for specific people.
So i thought it was time to maybe get my work critiqued.
Cheers
