Just wanted to say hi to everyone.... I am a creeper poet, not even sure that does it justice. But in my struggles with life, I write. poems? not sure if they are poems. and I have never shared them to people before, and was trying to find a way to let people read them and give me their thoughts on it. I'm an 100% Introvert, which doesn't help at all in many circumstances. But sometimes you you have to lay the foundation of courage somewhere before you can stand proud with it.

Hi. Max, here. Been fringing for a while before signing on and will continue to Fringe for a while yet. Will try a poem here and there in time and a critique or two. But don't expect much, I'm not very good at either

Hi, Max, welcome. This is a workshop so anyone interested in improving is in the right place, as long as you're willing to give just a bit more than you take. Smile
Critiques get better with practice, if you need some tips you'll find them in the important threads of the Novice workshop. Jump in when you're ready.

Hello I am Freya, I am a media art student from Hong Kong. English is my second language so I am not really good at it, but I am trying to improve my language skill. I like to write poem sometimes, but there is only a few people I knew who are interested in writing. I wish that I can get more review and critiques here, and I will try my best to learn more from others.

Hi I am Benjamin Hitler, (not at all related to the evil Nazi guy, just an unfortunate name change on my grandparents' part one night when they were drunk) I like poems and stuff, and I think all you guys deserve a hung because I love you all (for some reason I'm crying as I write this now) so yeah I'll see ya around

Crying is a good sign, it either means that you are overly emotional, which denotes poetic
potential; or that you are mentally ill, which denotes same. We have plenty of each and both,
so consider yourself welcomed and a member of the PigPen cohort.

Ray

P.S. I'm just named Heinrich and I got a lot of snide Nazi remarks thrown at me; I can't imagine being
named Hitler...  BUT, like in Johnny Cash's song "A Boy Named Sue", such adversity has helped
you build a strong character (as well, possibly, mental illness).  Smile

How long after picking up the brush, the first masterpiece?

The goal is not to obfuscate that which is clear, but make clear that which isn't.

H-hey everyone~! I'm quite shy but I like to express myself through writing. I've written a lot of poetry over the years, especially during those angsty teenage years at school lol. But I'm here primarily because I want to improve my skills in certain forms of poetry, for example: haiku. I hope we will get along nicely, and when I'm not giving feedback, I'll probably only be posting my works in serious critique thread... so... please don't make me cry too much! Nice to meet you all~!

If you post in serious, you'll don't need to worry about crying. Evisceration, perhaps, but no tears.
Looking forward to reading your work..
