I forgot why I wanted to ask. But I'll have "Seasons in the Sun" in my head soon. Is there a lot of summertime Christmas poetry in those places down there? And do people have globes that insist us in the North have it all wrong when it comes to which part of the planet is up and which is down?

No. Because we're not lame :p

I might come down there one day, and start up a cult that believes we should look at things from the perspective that people have had the universe upside down for centuries. And I'm wondering if there are already cults like that down there that I'd have to contend with.
Or maybe I'm writing a novel where this is part of the plot, and I'm trying to do research here. But no one will ever know.

I'm sure there are cults like that here. They will have been started by Americans. We're not known for our tolerance of such things. Scientology is only a short step away from being declared an outlaw organisation by federal parliament. It's Utopia here you know

Scientology lived best on the sea of this planet. We have Lovecraft cults right up north here.

Don't mind serge. His fingers have stopped taking messages from his brain

There is something wrong with my brain tonight. It took me about ten minutes to write one sentence a few minutes ago.
But I admire how Ron Hubbard got so many people to go on boyhood adventures with him on faraway islands.

march is one of the cruellest months here in Manila, the heat is about 37 on average and my brain doesn't work too well in it.
i suppose it's just as hot else where but i originate from the UK
to many Catholics here for Scientology to take hold yet, it's prob' classed as black magic.

March is rough here as well, though this year was especially bad as it was hot AND raining. At least we didn't get as many cyclones as were predicted though. April is pretty mild as a rule -- it's a good month for flowers and picnics.

It was snowing today. But it'll probably 70 degrees tomorrow.
It took me the longest time to write those two sentences. And I still left a word out.

seldom snows in the philippines (anywhere) the cruellest month lasts about march through june
The cruellest month mixes memory with desire, or something like that. So it gets to me. And "Seasons in the Sun" is a really sad song. I think I mentioned that song in my first post in this thread; if not just pretend I did.
Snowed like 5 feet yesterday.
Wonder where that last one is.
It's probably a pirate.
I should move to the Philippines
were there are less, feet?
