Some voices whisper from the heart, they say
I'll tell you secrets couched in minor tones.
Now listen closely as we start to play
Guitars of steel and muted slide trombones
Beneath the swoosh of brush upon a snare.
Let vocals curl around the subtle beat
Until the rising volume fills the air
Encapsulating heartache and defeat.
Succumb to piercing bottleneck, prepare
Yourself to ride the wave that sound abets.
Release the grief, allowing joy to flare
Obliged to fly along the strings and frets.
Console yourself with music from your muse,
Keep soaking up your sadness with the blues.
aaarrrrggggghhhh so rough, so not ready

This makes my brain hurt... I mean, don't get me wrong, it's not your poem,
it's the whole idea of doing an acrostic sonnet. My, oh my, isn't the world difficult
enough? But yes, I realize that some people simply must climb Everest or learn
to skateboard. I applaud you, I salute you, I wish you the best of luck...
And, just to appease the gods, find you a decent helmet.
all this useless beauty... but what the hell, why not?

lol I know, I don’t know what got into me. I may have thought What a fun puzzle. Then I couldn’t stop. This is what happens when you poke the pen without anything urgent to say. Blame Leanne, or CRNDLSM. Or milo, this bumping has got to stop. But he’ll just say This thread has nothing to do with acrostics. I know. Yeah, the helmet doesn’t seem to work. Oh, that’s a colander.

Ella cleaning up after I left trash all over the venue, it's only too hard if it isn't any fun!

Ha, this whole site is littered with my bad poems, makes it less scary to write another one. It was a fun way to spend the day, when it got too hard I took a short break, that helped. Reading it now there are full lines that are null and void but I was so relieved to be done I declared it finished.
