this is not poetry it's a rant, but this is the only safe place for it.

what on earth did you tell her?

before I loved you
I told Matt all about how you cracked my neck
how you'd expel bouts of fury that scared even me
I required freedom
and he accepted you--

now you want me to make amends with someone I never met
I guarantee my sense of propriety will be forged and transparent.

she may have known you for I-don't-give-a-fuck-how-many-years,
but does she know you?
seen you as angry?
does she know that she hurt you more?
that you hurt me [even more]?

I oughta cocksmack the both of you judgmental cunts.

I hate to break it to you, but this is poetry. If it's not, it's one of the more poetic rants anyone's ever made Smile

No critiquing, but it really hits me in the gut. You do raw, angry and despairing with great elegance.
It could be worse

Very nice Big Grin

I can appreciate this and love the nice cock-slap ending.

Thanks for sharing. Smile

Wow...

That had some damn fire to it. You're never boring.

I went and looked at the artwork you do, but it was hard to tell which was yours and which was things you shared or reblogged or whatever.

That moving portait of Penny from The Big Bang Theory is very lifelike. Too bad it isn't life-sized.

If you haven't already, you should print out some of these poems to make them look like newsclippings, and make a scrapbook, poetry book, art thing. And sell it. Or better yet give to people for free.
Or is that idea too hipster-like? No I think you could pull it off. Your blog has a collage feel to it anyway. And you could just buy some cheap scrapbooks and make each one look different.

I had an old friend that liked to draw maps of real places and imaginary places. I asked him to do something similar, and I like what he did a lot. A mystical-looking homemade atlas.

Oh, my blog rarely shows my stuff. I have an online portfolio that needs to be updated, but it's not just artwork. I can message it to you if you'd like, but to be honest I'm a bit embarrassed of it (it doesn't show my prints).

I like your idea. Though the alias newsclippings has little significance to anything I do -- I just thought it up on the spot.

You can show me any art you want. You have to do something with it, right? I went to an art show in this town last summer, and it was just where some college kids had glued three or four wine bottles together and gave them names like "Antelope" and "Armadillo", and I'm sure you're not as embarrassing as that.

If newsclippings is good enough for an alias, then it's almost good enough for a book title, or simply call it something else. I have lots of ideas. Ask Leanne about a movie called The Castle; I'm an ideas man too.--We discuss Australian movies down in the Sewer, because apparently that's the only place where anyone takes that subject seriously.

Ha! Yeah, what a prick! Cow! Wink

You write with originality--which for me, trumps everything.

So far, I like the second painting from the top the best. I don't understand the tech stuff. And I have this video game I wrote the script for. It got destroyed, but I remember some of it. Maybe one day you can show it to the right people.

The best art is the kind you can happily burn.

Teacher to student: "This would look better on fire."

Do you go to the Occupy movements? Or do you paint from photos, or what? You use those darkly bright colors that I like.

We just had some models in class. We gave them props.

The colors are all imagined though.

I think we need highly educated people to do lots of things in this world. But when it comes to art, I think if it's possible, it's best to be self-educated. But then again I'm a very antagonistic person with primitive worldviews.

Which one of you in class stabbed the model in the eye in the first painting?

The lady in the bottom painting is right sexy.

When someone uses that wink thing, does it mean "You don't know what you're talking about and I do..." Or is it a good old fashion kind of wink?

You have plenty time to do all kinds of things. I hope you do. The people that do creative work are the only people I have any interest in. And all the people I knew gave up. If you ever give up, you will have made me sad.

And I'll cry rainbows too.
