if you could ban something of substance (not a law etc. ) what would you ban? it could be bacon (never) or waxing, or clothes, be inventive but remember this isn't the sewer.

wow, nice one, i never thought of that. manila could definitely do with that. it's infrastructure would have to be seriously revamped though.

after thinking about your idea. i'm going to steal a bit of it. i'd ban cars from the city driven with fossil fuels.

my reason; hopefully more people would stop buying gas guzzlers and the manufacture would have some incentive to start making those electric cars they've been been able to make for the last ten or more years.

actually ,they did that in delhi some years ago,among other things they put all public transport,diesel buses,2 stroke rickshaws,on natural gas,pollution wise that made a huge difference,the chaos is still there though.
when i was in the boondocks in tibet last year i almost got run over by a hooker on a soundless scooter,later i realized it must have been electric

on the delhi roads the public transport buses are the biggest killers,hundreds of people every year
