I have one, a small tribal symbol on my forearm, inside. It's amazing to me the number of poets who sport ink (I want to ask them all if they smoke) - this blogspot features tattooed poets only, and each month different poets share their ink - and their poems.

I don't have one, but I would get one if I could settle on a design that I knew would remain important to me -- that hasn't happened yet, as I don't hold much sacred.
I quite like tattoos, but like anything they can be godawful if they're just done for the sake of getting a tattoo, with no sense of purpose. I don't think it's something that should be done just to follow a trend.

my problem was too much bravado and little brains, mainly they're really bad one
i've seen some tats that are works of art. not sure they'd stay that way after the body wrinkles for 20 or years but some truly are beautiful. the Japanese gangsters have some tremendous one. i have noticed that in my lifetime woman seem to adorn them much much more than they did. again, some of the tats look good but some are like badly done make up.

Love them. I have none but want three. I just don't know what I want though because I want them to be meaningful since ill be stuck with the tattoos for the rest of my life. It's just something I don't to rush into and just walk in without any idea of what to get. Not to mention I've heard horror stories of tattoo artists screwing up and people getting infections, so I kind have that in the back of my mind.

I absolutely love them although I don't have myself. I hope to get inked in 2013 with a few designs that I drew myself. I always swore I'd get sleeves on both arms and half-sleeves from my knees down so I could wear a pair of cargo shorts while riding a black and yellow Kawasaki Ninja.

I like the occasional humor value of them. One of my roommates many years ago wanted a tattoo of a dragon on her face curled around one of her eyes. I thought well we have an artist roommate who has designed some beautiful tattoos at least it will look good--even on the face. She decided instead of having him do something for her, she would design it herself. She's a good Pictionary artist to put it in perspective.
Now she didn't tell us that it was supposed to be a dragon. She got the work done and showed it off at a party we were having. I could have blamed the liquor, but I think I would have said it anyway.
She asked me what I thought.
I looked at it, took a drink, and said, "Nice Chicken."
I don't think she's ever gotten over it. I haven't heard if she's lasered her face yet.

Yikes! Tattoos with your significant other's name can be bad luck, almost like jinxing it.
Todd, that doesn't surprise me, you fox.

If you, had the balls, the money, permission, what would you get done ?
I have a friend that gets a tattoo for every major event that happens in his life he selects or draws a piece that is an interpretation of the event, his body is very interesting as a result, he says he does it so he won't forget.

I have Bukowski tattooed on my ribs, and I love it. Can't wait to get more.
I'll be there in a minute.
