Sky, Rainbow and Star are becoming quite popular.
We named our daughter Meadow Starr, and she gets compliments all the time. When she was born the nurses were taking bets if that's where she was conceived.
As for Facebook ... well tupid1:

Calling a child Facebook is ludicrous to us because we're sophisticated first world types who live in countries with advanced technology which we have the freedom to use as we please. Facebook is a part of our everyday lives, so calling a child it would be like calling them "kettle" or "light bulb." People in places like Egypt and Israel however aren't afforded the same luxuries, so something like Facebook would take on a certain mystical quality.
And Luca is a gorgeous name

"Like" can easily become "Luke", but what about "Facebook"? The kid would have to change their name completely.

Yes but Thor was the name of a God, it's mythology, so that has a bit more lasting resonance I think than Facebook. And as for Delete and Caps Lock, well, how have they helped start a revolution? "Facebook" and "Like" to these people are culturally significant. I can't imagine how big a role the caps lock key could play in someone's life that they'd name their child it

I understand what you mean about the exoticness of some names / concepts, I was just surprised because personally I wouldn't have assumed that facebook would be so exotic in Egypt, say... if we're talking about first world status, I thought they were at least more savvy compared to where I live (still technically a third world country). Just goes to show you.
