Sorry about that...If you have a look they are not shopped as in spoofed, but are the real deal. Enhancements were made to add contrast with some pretty powerfull computer software. NASA does this as routine to extract data.

That vid is so old that it predates Yahoos 10 minute limit for vids.

The "face" on mars when shown with the sun not so close to the horizon shows a random rock formation.

BUT do not get me wrong, it is mathematically impossible for us to be the only sentient life in the universe. But we are not worth bothering with yet until we learn to stop killing ourselves or our planet. If you could travel billions of light years would you want to come see us? Our news broadcasts alone should scare them away.

Mars never had a magnetic field strong enough to protect any life form (from solar flares ect) that might have evolved there. There might have been single celled life there at one time if it was deep underground. Who knows? Its been proven that life does NOT need the suns rays to survive..

Show me the empirical data that proves the data presented is real beyond a shadow of a doubt. What does NASA say about it?

the trouble with any data, vid or other is this. the commentary on them can and often is slanted one way or the other.

for instance play a vid with the omen theme tune and you think of sinister before you even see a frame

because someone says there is no other explanation for a phenomenon in a vid doesn't mean they're right.

often the person who says....there is no other possible explanation is the person with the closed mindset. i've seen on nat geo a perfectly good example why the face is a natural phenom. i've also seen many occasions in nature when a geometrical shape has formed what people fail to realize is this. most of our geometrical shapes were taken from nature. we then formulated theory as to why they occur and when they would occur. the ration of the segments in a nautilus shell gave us the perfect mean aka golden mean aka Fibonacci's raitio. it's how the got most of the measurements for the parthenon. and many famous buildings. it can be used to deconstruct the human body. squares and the this could never happen in nature pyramids occour all the time. hexagonls also occur all the time in nature. just look at the giants causeway as 1 example. intersperse any or all of the above with shadow, distance, height etc and you can come up with some crazy shit.

the scull o mars is a rock formation which is extremely small. that particular picture is a blown up section of a particular picture. i can't find the sauce but i have seen the pic, call me a liar if you must.

when we're shown the pics (vids) we have no real point of reference. no ruler to measure. they say on one this must be a canopy higher than the ground because of the shadow. well that word "must" isn't as true as they say. it may be this or that but it can be other things. often the most plausible is true. it isn't plausible to say this pattern is a real face or this isn't made in nature. if i'm shown an egg shell magnified a hundred times i guarantee i can show you pictures of things that are man size.

for me what i saw was rhetorical bullshit. that's my opinion, it may not be right but it is mine.

I'm pretty sure that that nat geo bit was proven to be incorrect but anyway the topic and the data can be portrayed in many ways. I believe it depends on what you are looking for. Yes music has many effects on vision as well as the rest of our senses I have no argument with that fact. To write something off as a result of music of any type being used would be a bit rash I believe. When looking for facts, music will have little effect if you are aware.
Here is what i think personally, laugh don't laugh i don't care....NASA sends a ship to mars that is capable of landing on that planet and taking pictures that are transmitted back to earth and reassembled to form video. Yet the quality of most of it is so bad that nothing can really be seen. Great shots of the rover and the hole drilled in rock but anything of importance has to be cleaned up to be seen. This allows for most of what is found to be written off as "shopped". Well I don't by it, I do not believe it is all real but I do believe something is being hidden in the photography.
