I would have to dissagree about there being no science haveing been done on it. There has been a ton done buy lots of people in the various feilds. I found a few pretty decent videos about it, here are three of them that i liked.

They are a means of getting information across bill and a very good one I might add. These 3 are a small version, your mcdonalds type issue. The science is pretty good interwoven in them. Watching a series of 6 ATM. I studied this topic myself abit in school. It always facinated me.
