The green faction and the blue faction were not merely sporting clubs in the reign of Justinian. It wasn’t about whom you supported at the races. You’d kill the other side given half a chance. Such an event occurred at the circus, and the emperor narrowly escaped with his life.
Since then, it’s been a polite thing to say that we must respect all views, but this is absurdly difficult in practice. Can a Jew coexist with a Hitler worshipper who thinks that six million wasn’t enough? Can a flat earther and an experimental physicist just agree to disagree? Can an ISIS spokesperson live happily alongside an atheist pole dancer who served in Abu Ghraib?
Not for any length of time, and so we must conclude that the only way to permanent peace is the elimination of opposing viewpoints, by the pen and the sword. This means that feminists and nature lovers have no place in America. Animal lovers are fine, but not any more than what would’ve been acceptable in early 1940s Germany. Certainly no PETA, but vegetarians are welcome.
Likewise, Christians are not acceptable. Neither is anybody who hasn’t travelled in South east Asia. You shouldn’t write a poem unless you’ve learnt another language. The worst possible sin is to continue to live where you were born and speak your mother tongue.
Literature is universally useless and all books should he burnt that aren’t about dinosaurs.
