post apocalypse is here,
the kind that leaves buildings intact but ensures oil is no longer in supply, the stocks have all been used up. the only transport is that employing muscle power such as horse and cart. communications are dead and there is no electricity.
what things would you have or need in such an event and why

well,i guess i'm pretty well equipped for that,plenty of land to grow my own food,cow,sheep,house,be pretty boring without you guys around,if i would have time for that anyway

i'd make sure i had some way to get good unpolluted water.
and lots of weapons for hunting, and rods for fishing.
as well as a large stock of canned goods

better than a bullet (i think)
vf had a good idea with a tool set.
so i'd have a carpenters tool set and a metal workers tool set.
the idea being; make a machine to create electricity. a fan or basic sterling engine.

yeah but what with, it's hard to make a good saw on your own etc.
okay, we could use flint tools but why not take some take of hoard something to help start over

there's so much crap lying around already,a bit of scavenging would get us a long way,but yes,a stash of some useful tools would be handy
