Hey duke- I must be dense, because I just don’t get it. Maybe I should see a shrink about it.

Psychiatry can prescribe medicine. Psychology categorizes symptoms, generalizing groups of people often, when someone says 'im bipolar' 'you don't seem autistic' it's a stereotype. Being able to prescribe medicine can be a very dangerous profession. I don't really know much of either group but the title 'psych' seems like a tease, it's not what it seemed or what I'd thought. So I don't quite get it either

Very gnomic.  "instantiating" makes it a frustrating read for me.

I've had nothing but good experiences in my many years interacting with both professions, but I get your point.
