the poetry forums is where you'll find the poems. decide what kind of feedback you'll like and post your stuff.
we don't have limits on posting as such but a good number would be 1 or 2 a day in the serious critique forum (they take a bit of time)
and how many you want in the others forums
we have a section thats mainly just for reference and relaxation hehe.
and the a general forum for discussing stuff in general. the sewer is where the pigshit flies, but it can be funny in a sexist kind of way.
you won't get lost cos we're here to help. just pm a mod and if they're online they'll help.

the sewer is only slightly sexist because there are no women in it

Advertise, advertise. Wonder if there are any magazines that would take ads from non-profits at no cost. The other thing is to promote the site on bulletin boards that are outside or inside cafes and grocery stories. College websites too. What about towns that have their own online bulletin boards?--I'll be posting this site when I get out today at one of the grocery store bulletin boards; also, I'll carry copies with me when I'm out and about and will post anywhere there are bulletin board--jim

thanks jim
addy and her sister are doing the rounds of their old colleges over the weekend with a couple of notes for notice boards.
Wow.
Going to colleges? I think that's a great idea! Perhaps I should put a few posters up....

thanks for the mention, wasn't sure where to post the poems, perhaps serious crit is more my thing...
is it a no-no to post something that has been considered for publication, i can see it being thought of as arrogant perhaps, but to me, it's more if not just to see a different perspective or opinion...there are lots of other publishers out there after all.
catch you later Post anything you want.
use mild or serious. it sometimes spreads the load .
Ifyou want to hide anything from google, such as poems you'll present for publishing or even published work, just use the hide tags explained here

In the interest of recruiting, I thought about posting a link on my FB wall. Is this ok?

I probably won't 'burn out,' but I generally do have an 'enthusiasm curve' when discovering new things. I will put my referral link on FB tonight and post a link on my web page. I have invite several friends that are into writing in general. If they are like me, they will love this forum.
