this will be the list for NaPoM 2019:

To create the list copy and paste the complete previous post and fill in the next empty number with a topic and details of how to post it: e.g. 1 A poem about flip-flops, rhyming, 8 lines or more. Please don't make the requirements too difficult or many.


1 A poem of fear, at least 8 lines must use the word lemon-drop/s
2 A poem about falling feathers, minimum 8 lines, must include at least one color which is neither black, white, nor gray
3 A poem in at least two strophes where the meaning changes if you read the strophes in reverse order
4 A poem of any length describing a pattern of any sort.
5 A poem any length or form inspired by fluids
6 A poem, non-rhyming or rhyming about anything consisting of four or more couplets
7 a poem of 7 lines, each of 7 syllables, and 1 line of any number of syllables, in any order, haha
8 A poem of exactly 8 lines which includes the theme of envy (or just 'ate, yeh)
9 A poem inspired by '-verse' (inverse, reverse, traverse, etc.)
10 A poem about the number 100 (since this is the 100th day of the year)
11 A poem from the perspective of a famous historical figure, but can't mention whatever made them famous/noteworthy- at least 8 lines long
12 a poem of 8 lines or more inspired by gas
13 A poem of 8 lines or more concerning relationships between/among members of a suit of playing cards - King, Queen, Jack, and the numbers
14 A fourteen-line poem about temperance.
15 A poem of 8 lines or more written from the perspective of a stranger in a strange land.
16 A poem to/for your future or past self.
17 A melodramatic sonnet about something that should have been mundane.
18 Tell a lie.  Have the Narrator lie to us.  
19 a poem of 8 lines or more about architecture
20 a poem of any length inspired by looking out your window
21 a metapoem using pattterns
22 Write a palinode retracting a view you wrote about earlier this month. (one of my favorite prompts ever, stolen from milo)
23 A love poem of at least eight lines, but you can't use the following words: love, lover, red, heart, sweet, beautiful... no plurals or different tenses of these words either
24 write 4 haiku/senryu or other short form poems.
