There is another account with the name rowens but it only says “guest” under the name and it’s not blue like an active member. There are 63 pages of posts under that name, mostly comments but poems too. Perhaps you have an old account that is now inactive and it confuses the site when you try to log in because they both have the same name?

billy deleted that account by accident, he said. The message looks like this: Board Message Sorry, but you are banned. And then it says some other stuff about posts I can't make. It might be making that mistake about the old account.

Maybe you can try relaxing the need to register, and see whether that works?
Can post sans registration, but need registration to view comments?

I have to make another odd comment. Somebody I knew on this site got in trouble. It used to be said not to delete your threads, because it deletes the comments other people make. But then, lately, kind of, people who got banned, comments others made got deleted. I don't care. But it is a point. . . . If we want to make this, well, continue, strong site.

if it’s something to worry about (to get banned over) mods should just disable people’s ability to delete comments...

He might have lied. He was here a few years ago. But if he did get in trouble for deleting his threads, and so other people's comments, I don't see why we'd do it now. There's something that somebody said that I wanted to look at, but the original poster got banned, so I can't.

we're fine people deleting a poem without feedback on it, but it's the mass deleting that kills us and people do mass delete at times when they get the hump over something. at present we seem to have rational members who think of others. i think the sites picking up slowly but surely. i'm just thinking this april 3rd NaPM won't get so many posts, it's got me stumped .
