so here I am again,
debating my existential angst
with a goddamned computer screen.
the only animal aware of its mortality,
inventor of the concept of time,
some would call us pioneers,
and some would disagree.
wiping my arse at 2:30am,
sore and aching and depressed,
I'd have to choose the latter camp.

Thanks for the feedback, Billy

The title was sort of inspired by "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?", a Philip K. Dick science fiction novel. I don't why, but "badgers" was the first thing which popped into my head. I did think of changing it to "why don't animals wear watches?", but I liked the idea of going with my original thought, no matter abstract it was.
Glad you laughed at this

I was going for a bleak, depressing humour.

I thought "badger" as a pun.
