the repetitions and motifs.

Early morning blues,
simple call and response,
an aching soul transformed.

Late night doxologies;
bright ethereal warbles
that floated to the stars.

And finally I understand.
I have deciphered your song.

yep all robins are very rude yobs, i have one lives in my cider shed and despite the fact that i give him bread everyday he follows me up and down the shed saying ugly things to me.

If you give them time they want to become friends, but it always starts off with aggressive challenges. There was one robin I had in my garden, Hubble (Edwin Hubble discovered red shift in stars, Robin's are red and shift really fast... I know crazy) who eventually started to come in the house for food every day and would follow me everywhere when I was in the garden. But yes he wanted to kill me at first.

Cheers, if you knew robins you would know there would be a twist. By the way American robins are not robins, I just learnt that today, the crazy bird I speak of only lives in europe... Until now!! It will be revenge for the grey squirrel invasion.

I thought she was sent as a distraction so the Robins could begin their work unnoticed. But Ella speaks of a Crow that I know nothing of. Intriguing.

You know ultimately we possess the most intelligent animal on the planet, the Eurasian Magpie. So clever that it has passed the mirror test and it can count. Two things that Adele has yet to do. When the Magpies come, you'll know it's serious. 



Oh yeah, they also like to play with puppies.

Well, unlike Adele, you can go indoors to escape the grey squirrel. Also unlike Adele, they grey squirrel can be made palatable as follows:

Place skinned and gutted squirrel in large pot
Add
2 cups water
1 10oz can diced tomatoes
Assorted tubers
2 cloves garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
1 medium rock

Cook on low heat until the Rock is tender.

Ah, that has just recalled a vague memory of a thread of yours somewhere on this site, I can't remember where. But someone mentioned something to do with 'a ground squirrel', to which you replied something like 'it would be quite messy'. It's probably too early to say at the moment but, I see a pattern developing.

Ah right I see now. I remember reading this thread and thinking what you said about John Lennon's lyrics was spot on, especially the example you used to back it up. Perfect.
