And another bloated corpse is just what we needed around here, so welcome.
I see. But I'm not very good with saying criticisms and that about other peoples' poems. cant you make is so I don't have to do that bit, thanks @ellajam.

Sorry, the site is built on give and take, and the idea that one's own poetry can improve from the thoughtful reading of and interacting with other members' poems.
If you'd like to learn to give a helpful critique try reading the Important Threads of Basic Critique, if not maybe you can post on a site without our requirements. I hope you give it a try, it can be interesting and fun.

Ok, @ellajam thanks. I will try. #thanksellajam

Hi @bloated_corpse. I guess you'll get the hang of being #notontumblr. We're informal here, so you can #dropthehashtags and just write people's @names normally too.

It could be worse

hey Ellajam, I think there might be a problem with the site matrix because I've wrote two criticisms but they havent' even appeared after ages. Maybe I didn't post them right or the system is malfunctioning or something like that.

Just waiting for a mod to read them. A few hours may be “ages” to a machine but we’re humans with lives, someone will get to it.

yeah, no that's cool Ellajam. I just thought it might be a problem with the system and thought I'd just let you know. I didn't want the site being all frozed up for you. ok, thanks Ellajam.

Hi Busker. Read your welcome letter for an explanation of what's expected- 3 good critiques in any of the main forums and you're in, once the mods approve them.

It could be worse

A word to the wise: "I like this" is not a critique and won't be approved.

Thanks for clarifying. I have given more feedback, but don’t know if it’s good or bad

Hi Busker, have you read your welcome letter? The three workshops for critique are Basic, Mild and Intensive. If you read the important threads of the Basic workshop you'll find some critique tips.

Hello Ella, thanks for clarifying. I thought at first that the names referred to the type of poetry posted in each forum. I don’t like intensive poetry, it’s too emo for me. But now I know better. Thank you.

		Hello all!
I'm a longtime fiction writer and playwright, presently getting a MFA in Fiction at San Francisco State, trying my hand at poetry. I'm looking forward to meeting you all and getting feedback on my work!

I'm also curious why I can't post in the workshop forum yet? I've posted four critiques.
