Yeah I stopped coming here for a few weeks in February too.
It wasn't school that got to me, it was my vile drinking habits... which have not ceased.
I'll be there in a minute.
You're still drinking. We're all absinthe fairies. You're not really here...

Hi everyone. Found this place looking for a site where I might get some critiques on my poetry and offer some critiques of my own. For some reason it's been difficult for me lately to get that interaction from in-person friends of mine. Hope to get some much needed feedback here. I'm 25 and have been writing poetry on and off for about 13 years. Writing and reading have always been two of my biggest passions and I've been trying to get more serious about it over the past few years. I hope this is a sufficient intro...and in the right place for that matter

Oh my, I didn’t say hello. There I go jumping into the pig pen and splashing around without even a “How do you do?” I must say I like this place. It’s friendly and supportive and strangely addictive. My little poems have certainly improved through the collaborative process fostered here. New ideas have grown from the seeds of your suggestion. Thank you. I think it’s great. I feel a bit like a tourist, just poking around and annoying the locals with my naïveté, but you have all smiled politely so I will stay and try to figure out the currency.

Hi Tommy,
Nice to have you here. The currency is broken shells, false hope, and hubris...we don't make change. Welcome!

Hello everyone! I'm 18 and I love writing and reading poetry. So happy to have found this site where I can practice both and also critique and get critiqued. I registered yesterday and since then I've been reading all that I can on here! Interesting stuff!
