When listening to jazz with crooked ears,
laid back with cocktail buzzed associates
in a Manhattan shoebox near the square,
the city hears your tune, and plays along.

Thanks for reading guys. This was just a fun attempt at writing a beat-inspired poem in blank verse (I think I succeeded, but I'm not sure), but I'm pretty happy with the result.
