.....and the world seems upside down. We've lost so many people in the last few years that I would call genius writers, but Sir Terry Pratchett will be missed dearly. At some point I will probably do a poem in memoriam, but it would have to be fantastic for me to post it.

I think I'd find it incredibly hard to write a tribute to Terry, at least for a while. I woke up to this news just half an hour ago and my Friday is completely destroyed -- not to mention that my specs are all spotty from some kind of watery substance. This is a bit too sad for me to even contemplate just now.
I have heard of the deaths of many writers over the years and felt sadness at their passing, but I have only truly mourned three as if they were friends: Douglas Adams, Isaac Asimov and our dear Terry Pratchett.
It could be worse

I mourned Asimov and Adams as well. Damn these watery substances!
