four black foals which bray and bleat

Hi
I know this is a non critique thread, but felt that perhaps i could just mention that I could not make any sense out of this one at all - Sorry.

This is my reading:

Four black foals - yep got it solid image
that are braying ...okay so they are donkey foals...no wait they are now bleating like sheep...(which are they)
anyway, these lambs or donkeys can see a witch with broken hands (which is why they are making the noise) - odd, but okay I suppose.
The donk-ambs then fall and somehow become knotted threads and they fall around holes that are bleeding on The / A devil's feet.

This could well be really clever and I am being slow, or it could be jibberish.
Sorry about these comments - normally i try to find something possitive to say but this one defeated me.
Having said the above, keep writing and posting - this is the best place i know to improve - and these comments are made by someone who has written more than her fair share of poems that were rubbish .  Big Grin

Hi cidermaid

Thanks (I think...) for the comments. Sorry you couldn't find anything positive to say about the poem. It's really just intended to be something that presents a strange, unfamiliar image. It's interesting that you pointed out your confusion over bray/bleat - a lot of people have mentioned that to me. I don't feel any real need to edit or revise this one.
