after much deliberation i have to say, a good poet usually creates a good poem.

What makes a poem good?

Learning to write them instead of wasting time with the same old stupid questions.

This only holds for people who like bad poems; it's a perfectly
fine criterion for those of us who like only good poems.

But for those of you out there who have doubts about their
ability to like only good poems, here's an excellent rule-of-thumb:

Every poem is bad.

You will be correct 99.999% of the time; and, for all intents
and purposes, you will be adjudged every bit as competent as
those of us who like only good ones.
