Hi, crow, this was fun to read. I enjoyed the jump into the truck and the scattered rhymes. I don't get the stubborn imbeciles line, and I'd prefer you to try to answer the cowardly feeling question yourself rather than ask me, but still a good read.

I see the truck person as juxtaposed to the "coward", which basically makes this a dichotomy between an imbecile and a coward. I'm OK with the question being left open, because this is not a philosophical question, but rather an emotional one that really doesn't have an answer outside of falling back on the flight or fight response. I think the answer given here is self preservation.
