I’m unsure of what I expected from this thread. I am glad I read it before I posted the first time here. I know I’m guilty of a few of the common 5. The ellipsis discussion is what I found to be rather valuable.

One thing I was guilty of when I was a youngin in college trying to sound smart was overusing a thesaurus and writing poems FULL of words no one EVER uses, let alone knows the meaning of. it was so forced and pretentious.
