it took me a few reads to get the gist of it.
the way you tell the history of the neighbourhood from the news scene is excellent. from present to past to present, the transition is spot on
i was stumped with "locust and twenty" but that's because i'm a brit
i managed to work it out though. i enjoyed the way the poem opened up, before tailing off to a solid end.a good narrative poem that i can't give any constructive crit too because it works for me as it is. it's so "sofa natural"
