Re. female CEO's.
We don't live in an ideal world. No such place exists.
We live in the real world. Which has become the way it is as a result of millions of years of evolution, not as a result of a deliberate and calculated and exclusively male conspiracy.
Males ARE more aggressive than females. They went out and killed mammoths and as a result of the extra protein in the diet our species rose to dominate the earth. The abilities of human females contributed to that rise also, but in different and less overtly aggressive ways.
Consequently, men win the top jobs because they try harder for them (to their own detriment, when you look at heart attack statistics). That's not a conspiracy that's natural selection in practice. Women can rise to the top--there are female heads of corporations and female heads of state. But most of them don't because, quite simply, they don't have the killer instinct it takes.
To say that more women should be given the reins because that would be more "fair" is, frankly, arguing for lower standards. "We've evaluated the candidates for CEO and decided to give it to the one with the biggest tits." THAT would be sexist. Affirmative action undermines the people it is supposed to help.
