From what I understand, the Suprbay admins have had to take some defensive measures due to ongoing DDoS attacks against the site.
It appears that they have blocked access from some segments of the IP address space, while allowing others.

why would anyone ddos sbay, and how would they get enough people to do it so as to cause a problem.
